Jazzy Nights 2011: The Night Of Illusions

Marienette Ngambou, the Berea College campus last Saturday was transformed into an island of fantasies.
Edem Glover and I helped with promotions. The event was sponsored by SGA. The DJ definitely made sure everyone was having a good time. The crowd was well pleased. Jazzy Nights 2011 was easily the most anticipated party of the year.
Each year, the Student Government Association sponsors Jazzy Nights in order to celebrate the elections of the new President and Vice President. This year the titles were given to Sean Litteral and Jalicia Sturdivant, respectively. Jazzy Nights was destined to be a night to remember. We started promoting 4 weeks before the event. This is unusual here at Berea College. People kept asking me, “Why is everyone so excited about Jazzy Nights?” It is due to the fact that everyone was informed about the event and told that we must ALL come together and have an epic night, and That is exactly what happened!
Edem threw a mini-pre-gaming party in his room 2 hours before the main event. We all had to get loose before we crashed the party. His closest Berea friends were invited and we all had a good time!
